Entrepreneur Turns Sleep Into Lucrative Small Business!

Think you have a solid idea for a business, but are afraid your idea is a flop?  Have no worries!  If you are passionate and driven enough to find the right resources to be a success, then you absolutely can be!  Lee Loree, had an idea to develop a sleep pattern monitor, after sitting for hours on end, watching his wife sleep and dream.  When he got the idea, he was working as a stock analyst, who decided after watching his wife have some very lucid dreams, to figure out a way to record her sleeping patterns in an effort to improve her sleep.

After finding the right people to talk to about developing and promoting the idea, Loree launched his small business and it turned out to be a very lucrative adventure.  He and a business mentor launched a website to sell their new invention, and had a few visitors to their site.  The first round of visitors didn’t buy anything.  Shortly thereafter, the site was visited by a web developer and with his help, the site began to receive a large wave of visitors who did in fact buy what Lee Loree was selling.

In an interview for Bloomburg Businessweek online, Loree tells, the reporter, Karen Klein, that he did not expect to receive the traffic that he got to his website, and he didn’t know for sure if his idea was really going to work.  He took a huge gamble on himself (borrowing money from his life savings) to turn his dream into a reality.  Today, he runs a very lucrative small business, and says he prefers to keep his business small.  Even though other competitors have come on the scene to give him a run for his money, he does not sacrifice time with his family to work on becoming a  massive company.  He treasures being present when he is with his family, and keeping things properly scaled, business wise helps him to do that.

Customer Service Skills Can Make or Break a Business

Customer Service is an important aspect of any business, regardless of industry. An organization can have the best products and technology. A company can even beat out all of its competitors with regard to price. However if a business’ level of customer service is not stellar, it will most likely build a base of “revolving door consumers”, that will shop one time and be on their way to a competitor company for future purchases because of a lackluster shopping experience.

In today’s culture of instant gratification, service plays an intricate role in determining whether a business will be around for years to come or if they will have to shut their doors as quickly as they opened them. Here at Global Advance Virtual Assistance, our primary focus is on the needs of our customers. We are committed to treating them with the utmost respect.
